Accessing the HeySales Studio
Once you log in to HeySales, you’ll find the Studio module on your left-hand panel.
The Studio is where you can create, edit, and manage all your podcasts and call simulations.
To create a new podcast, click “Create Podcast”.
Step 1: Add Podcast Details
Start by entering key details for your podcast:
Title: Keep it short, clear, and descriptive.
Course Image: Upload a banner or thumbnail by clicking the image icon next to the title.
You can choose from multiple image options:
From in-house stock image repository (Pexels)
From your own uploads
From previously used images
Recommended thumbnail dimensions: 800 x 180 pixels
Once added, you’ll see a preview of your podcast banner and title layout.
Step 2: Add Content to Generate a Podcast
You can add one or more content pieces to generate your podcast. These assets can come from various sources, including:
Paperflite Streams or Collections
Cleverstory Experiences
Your Personal Drive
External URLs
HeySales also supports pulling in locked or internal Paperflite assets — so you can create internal learning podcasts exclusively for your team.
Once the assets are added, the system will automatically optimize the content for podcast generation.
Click Confirm once optimization is complete, and HeySales will generate your podcast.
After generation, your completed podcast will appear on the screen — ready for preview or further editing.
Step 3: Adding Learning Skills
Every podcast, course, or assessment in HeySales is mapped to skills — helping you track and measure learning outcomes.
To attach skills:
Click the “+” icon at the top-right corner.
Select relevant skills that reflect what learners will gain from this podcast.
Step 4: Assign Learners to Your Podcast
Once your podcast is ready, assign it to learners or sales reps in your organization.
You can:
Select existing user groups, or
Choose individual users within your Paperflite instance.
This ensures the right audience gets access and their learning activity can be tracked through reports.
Managing Skills (Admin Only)
Admins can manage the organization’s learning skills library directly from Paperflite. To manage skills:
Go to your Paperflite instance.
Navigate to Admin → HeySales.ai → Skills.
Add, delete, or update skills as needed.
You can also create sub-skills under existing skills for deeper categorization.
Editing and Refining Your Podcast in Studio
HeySales.ai gives you full flexibility to refine your podcast even after generation.
You can edit tone, phrasing, or structure using SEEK, the built-in AI assistant.
To use SEEK for edits:
Type your prompt in the SEEK search bar.
Provide clear and specific instructions, such as:
“Change the data point from X to Y in the paragraph starting with ‘[insert phrase]’.”
“In the paragraph beginning with ‘XYZ’, make the language sound more conversational and upbeat.”
This allows precise adjustments without re-recording or regenerating the entire podcast.
Additional Podcast Controls
Within the Studio, you’ll find several controls to fine-tune your podcast:
🎧 Adjust Learning Time: Use the slider to adjust the estimated podcast duration.
🗣️ Change Voice Profiles: Choose from voice options like “Mindful & Calm” or “Cosy Duo” to match your preferred tone.
📜 View Transcript: Access or export the full text transcript for reference or accessibility.
These controls help ensure your podcast sounds natural, stays relevant, and fits your learners’ needs.
