In this post, we will understand how you can track your emails to multiple recipients. Let us dive into then.

A lot of times, marketers and sales reps send emails to multiple recipients in one go and want to track them. But, software such as Pipedrive, Gmail, Outlook don't let you do that. They let you track the attachment only for the first email recipient.

We have a solution for it though. Here is how you do it in Gmail.

Step 1: Enabling IMAP settings in Gmail

On your Gmail account, head over to the Settings icon and Click on ‘Settings’.

Click on ‘Forwarding and POP/IMAP’ under Settings:

On ‘IMAP access,’ click on ‘EnableIMAP.’

Then, click on 'Save Changes' at the bottom of the page.

Step 2: Integrating Gmail with SMTP in Paperflite

Then, log in to your Paperflite account at https://app.paperflite.com. Head over to Settings → Integrations. Activate your SMTP settings.

Now, you need two key things to proceed (apart from your username, password, and display name). They are: HOSTNAME and the PORT.

There are two methods to get them. Both methods are interchangeable, use whichever suits you.

Method 1

HOST NAME: smtp.gmail.com

PORT: 587

SSL: On

USER NAME: <Your Email Address>

PASSWORD: <Your Email Password>

Method 2

HOST NAME: smtp.gmail.com

PORT: 465

SSL:  On

USER NAME: <Your Email Address>

PASSWORD: <Your Email Password>

While you’re at it, don’t forget to select ‘Save Changes’ when you’re done.

That's it! You can now send emails (via Compose) to multiple recipients and track attachments.
