What is SSO?

Single Sign-On (SSO) refers to enabling a single set of credentials to access different applications. One password to rule them all (and in the darkness bind them?)

It's safer, saves your brain cells from having to remember an extra set of credentials and makes it even easier to login to Paperflite.

How does Paperflite enable Google SSO?

Paperflite supports Google SSO via SAML 2.0. Short and sweet.

How do I set up Google SSO for our account?

Step 1:
Go to the G Suite admin console. Click on the apps menu and select SAML from the drop down (not the others).

Step 2:
Click the + button in the bottom left to add a SAML application. Spoiler Alert: The application is Paperflite.

Step 3:

Step 4:

On the next screen, download the IDP metadata under OPTION 2.

Send us the downloaded metadata for us to update it on our system. Thank you!

Step 5:
Provide a name and description and optionally upload the logo for easy recognition. Feel free to praise us here ;).

Step 6:
Enter Paperflite's "ACS URL" and "Entity ID" details as shown in the picture.

Grab my hands and copy-paste this! We are near the finish line!

ACS URL: https://auth.paperflite.com/saml/SSO
Entity Id: app.paperflite.com
Start Url: https://app.paperflite.com
Signed Response: false
Name ID: Basic Information | Primary Email
Name ID Format: EMAIL

Step 7:
Click on 'Finish'. But we’re not done yet :P.

Step 8:
This is an additional screen. It’s okay to click 'OK' now.

Step 9:
Now select your application from the list of SAML applications and Click 'ON for everyone' (or ‘on for some’) and Bam!

High Fives All Around! Single Sign On is now configured successfully for your app!
