CRMs, such as Hubspot, are an essential part of every sales and marketing team's tech arsenal.

Sales reps usually spend an incredible amount of time on the CRM filtering leads, polishing emails, following up, and so on; they most often begin and end the day in the CRM.

Given the way buying trends are changing, personalised content has become the only way to truly connect with potential buyers and prospects.

Connecting Hubspot with Paperflite allows sales reps to provide a superior content experience to prospects. It also allows for intelligence on how sales reps can customise the content to suit the buyer’s needs.

In this post, we explain how Hubspot can be integrated with Paperflite to make your content strategy stronger.

Note: Currently, the integration with Hubspot is admin level integration. Which means the admin would have the access to active and make changes on the account level. The Paperflite account would have the admin's hubspot account and so if an user wishes to override it with their own account we have the option to override the admin configuration.

If the admin deactivates the integration at any point, the integration would be deactivated for every user in the paperflite account irrespective of them having the admin/ user level configuration.

For this integration to be successful, you will require:

  1. The Paperflite Chrome extension

  2. Admin privileges on Hubspot

  3. Same user email access on both Paperflite and Hubspot

There are 3 steps to this integration.

Step 1: Downloading Paperflite’s Chrome Extension

Step 2: Setting up in Paperflite

Step 3: Sending Mails & Viewing Content Analytics

Step 1: Downloading Paperflite’s Chrome Extension

On your Google Chrome browser, head over to the Chrome Web Store (https://chrome.google.com/webstore/search/paperflite) and search for the Paperflite Chrome extension.

Click on the first result that is shown – Paperflite Extension for Chrome. On the next page, you can click on “Add to Chrome” and followed by “Add Extension”.

Once the extension is added, you'll see the Paperflite icon on the top right corner of your browser window. Click on the icon and sign in to your paperflite account. You'll now be able to access all your Paperflite assets from within this extension.

Step 2: Activating Hubspot in Paperflite

With the Paperflite Chrome extension setup complete, let’s look at how you can set up Hubspot within Paperflite.

First, log into your Paperflite account at app.paperflite.com

Navigate to the Settings menu in the toolbar on the left-hand side. Under Settings, click on the “Integrations” tab. Among the integrations available, navigate to the Hubspot tile and click on the “Activate” button underneath.

Once you click on “Authenticate”, proceed to choose the account to connect with Paperflite.

On the next screen, you will see the scope of the integration. Post which you can click on “Connect App” to complete the integration.

Once the setup is complete, you can select your preferences for syncing between Paperflite and Hubspot.

If the admin decides to deactivate the integration, below is a screengrab of how it would look when the click on deactivate.

Note: If you wish to add Custom events within the Hubspot integration, click here to get a step-by-step guide on how to create, manage, and view engagement metrics.

Step 3: Sending Emails through Hubspot and Viewing Content Analytics

Once the authentication is complete, you will be able to share all your Paperflite content from within Hubspot.

Here’s how you can do this. Login to your Hubspot account and select the contact you want to send an email to. As you’re typing out the email you will notice the Paperflite icon at the bottom.

Clicking on this icon opens up all the Paperflite assets – your Collections and Streams. Select the asset that you want to add and click on attach.

Once the content is attached, your email is good to go.

Viewing Analytics

Once you’ve sent your emails, you will be able to track how your contacts are engaging with your content – all within Hubspot.

You can then navigate to the activity feed to take a look at analytics to understand how your content is being consumed.

You can also get granular level analytics on the Paperflite platform under the conversations tab.

Click on each asset to know how your target audience has engaged with your content.

And that is how you integrate Hubspot and Paperflite to improve your prospect’s content experience.
